Last updated: April 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Stardust Riding Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares

information when you visit our website https://www.stardustridingco.com (the “Site”), book services

through our scheduling system, or pay for services online.

Important: This document is a template. Have it reviewed by a qualified attorney and updated for

your actual practices, state laws, and any rules that apply to minors or health-related data.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected through the Site and through our use of Squarespace

(website/hosting), Acuity Scheduling (booking and intake forms), and Stripe (payment processing

when you pay through our booking flow). It does not govern third-party sites you reach by clicking

external links.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

2.1 Information you provide

• Identity and contact: name, email address, phone number, mailing address (if you provide it).

• Booking details: appointment type, date/time, messages or notes you include in scheduling forms.

• Intake or safety information: information you submit through Acuity forms (for example, experience

level, emergency contact, health or riding-related disclosures)—only collect what you truly need and

consult counsel for sensitive categories.

• Payment information: when you pay online, card and bank details are processed by Stripe. We

do not receive your full card number for storage on our own servers in the same way Stripe does; Stripe

handles payment data according to its policies and PCI standards.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Site usage and device data: when you browse the Site, Squarespace and common technologies

may collect data such as IP address, browser type, device type, general location derived from IP,

pages viewed, and referring URLs.

• Cookies and similar technologies: the Site may use cookies, pixels, or local storage for

functionality, analytics, or preferences—see Section 6.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, schedule, and deliver our riding and related services.

• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and operational messages.

• Process payments and handle refunds or disputes in line with our policies.

• Respond to questions and support requests.

• Improve the Site and our offerings, and understand aggregate usage trends.

• Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect safety, rights, and property.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your information for automated

decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, except as part of standard payment

fraud checks run by Stripe or similar processors.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate our business:

| Recipient | Role | Typical data involved |

|-----------|------|------------------------|

| Squarespace | Website hosting, and (where applicable) Acuity as part of Squarespace scheduling

products | Site analytics, account/technical data, scheduling data processed in Acuity |

| Acuity Scheduling | Online scheduling, calendars, forms, notifications | Name, contact, booking

details, form responses you configure |

| Stripe | Payment processing | Payment method details, transaction data, fraud signals |

| Professional advisors | Accountants, lawyers (as needed) | Limited business records |

| Legal and safety | Courts, regulators, law enforcement when required | As compelled by law or to

protect vital interests |

We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to

applicable law.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal, tax, and accounting

obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary: for example, booking

and payment records may be kept for several years as required for business and tax purposes. Stripe

and Squarespace retain data according to their own retention policies for data they process on our

behalf.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser

settings; blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality. If we use Squarespace analytics or similar

tools, they may process usage data as described in Squarespace’s documentation and policies.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of

the data we handle. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee

absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.

• Correct inaccurate information.

• Delete certain information, subject to legal exceptions.

• Opt out of certain processing (for example, marketing—if we send marketing, we will provide an

unsubscribe option).

• Appeal a decision if we deny a request (where required).

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): If applicable, you may have additional rights regarding personal

information and sensitive personal information. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for

cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined; if our practices change, we

will update this policy.

European visitors (GDPR): If we offer services in the EEA/UK and the GDPR applies, we will identify

our legal bases (contract, legitimate interests, consent where required) and you may have rights to

object, restrict, or port data where applicable.

To exercise rights, contact us at admin@stardustridingco.com. We may need to verify your identity

before responding.

9. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 18 . We do not

knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental consent. If you

believe we have collected information from a child improperly, contact us and we will take appropriate

steps.

10. International transfers

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United

States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data

protection laws.
