The Heart Behind the Program
I’m Kristina Collazo, an equestrian professional and life long horse woman with over a decade of hands-on experience in horse training, trail guiding, rider instruction, and barn management.
My background spans everything from managing full lesson programs, leading trail operations, training young sport horses to working with beginner - intermediate riders and developing confident, capable horse people. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of disciplines and environments, which has shaped a well-rounded, adaptable approach to both horses and riders.
At the core of my program is a commitment to thoughtful, horse-first horsemanship. I believe that real progress and healing comes from understanding and learning how to communicate clearly, ride with feel, and build trust with the horse underneath you. The horse and human connection is at the core of what draws us to equestrianism and our program foster’s and celebrates that connection with each incredible horse in our program.
Whether I’m working with a young horse, a first-time rider, or someone returning to the saddle, my goal is always the same: to create a positive, supportive environment where both horse and rider can grow with confidence.
