Our Terms and Conditions

Stardust Riding Co

Last updated: April 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website located at

https://www.stardustridingco.com (the “Site”) and any lessons, clinics, services, or related offerings

you book or purchase through our online scheduling and payment systems. By accessing the Site,

submitting a booking request, or completing payment, you agree to these Terms.

Important: This document is a template for your business. Have it reviewed by a qualified attorney

in your state before relying on it. Equestrian activities involve inherent risks; your lawyer may

recommend separate liability releases or waivers signed at the barn.

1. Who we are

“Stardust Riding Co,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Stardust Riding Co, with a principal place of

business at 1750 Co Rd 139, Hutto, TX 78634.

Contact: admin@stardustridingco.com

2. Services

We provide equestrian-related services such as riding instruction, training, and related activities

(collectively, the “Services”). Service descriptions, schedules, pricing, and availability are shown on the

Site and/or in our scheduling system and may change at any time.

3. Booking and scheduling (Acuity)

• Bookings for Services are made through Acuity Scheduling (“Acuity”), a third-party scheduling

platform operated by Squarespace, Inc. or its affiliates.

• When you book, you provide information as required by our booking forms (for example, name, email,

phone, and any intake or waiver fields we require).

• You agree that Acuity’s systems, availability displays, and confirmation emails are provided by Acuity

subject to their terms and your interaction with their interface constitutes your agreement to complete

booking steps accurately.

• We may refuse or cancel bookings that violate these Terms, appear fraudulent, or for operational,

safety, or capacity reasons, subject to applicable law and any stated cancellation policy.

4. Payments (Stripe via Acuity)

• Payments for Services booked through our flow are processed by Stripe, Inc. or its affiliates

(“Stripe”), typically as integrated with Acuity.

• You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the

amounts agreed at checkout, including applicable taxes and fees where required.

• Card and payment data are handled by Stripe according to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy—not

stored on our servers in a manner that replaces Stripe’s role as payment processor.

• If a charge is disputed, reversed, or fails, we may cancel or suspend the related booking until payment

is resolved.

5. Squarespace

The Site may be hosted or built using Squarespace products. Your use of the Site may also be subject

to Squarespace’s terms and policies to the extent they apply to visitors.

6. Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows

• Policies for cancellation deadlines, refunds, credits, rescheduling, late arrivals, and no-shows are as

stated at booking, on the Site, or in separate communications we provide. If not stated, our reasonable

standard policies apply and may be updated from time to time.

• Weather, horse health, instructor availability, or safety concerns may require rescheduling or

cancellation by us; we will use reasonable efforts to notify you and offer alternatives where appropriate.

7. Assumption of risk; equestrian activities

• Horseback riding and working around horses involve inherent risks, including the risk of serious

injury or death. You voluntarily assume risks associated with the Services and the premises, animals,

equipment, and participants involved.

• You agree to follow all safety instructions and barn rules provided by us or our staff. We may

exclude or stop any participant who we reasonably believe poses a risk to people or animals.

• Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive liability to the extent prohibited by applicable law. Your

attorney may advise you to use separate signed release forms for minors and adults.

8. Age and authority

If you book on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian (or have proper

authority) and accept these Terms on their behalf. We may require signed waivers or documents before

participation.

9. Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Site, booking system, or payment tools—including no unlawful, harassing,

or fraudulent activity, and no attempt to interfere with security or other users’ use of the Services.

10. Intellectual property

Content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, photos, and layout) is owned by Stardust Riding Co or our

licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse Site content

for commercial purposes without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

11. Third-party services

Acuity, Stripe, Squarespace, and other tools we use are third-party services. Their availability,

features, and terms are outside our full control. We are not responsible for outages or acts of those

providers except as required by law.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as

available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a

particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stardust Riding Co and our owners, instructors, staff, and

representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or

for lost profits or data, arising from these Terms or the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising

from these Terms or the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the specific

Service giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months before the claim, or (b) $100—except where

such limitations are prohibited by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stardust Riding Co and our personnel from claims,

damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the

Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights—except to the extent caused

by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes will be in the state or federal courts located

in Williamson County, Texas—subject to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction if

applicable.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site with a new “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the Site or new bookings after the change constitutes acceptance of the updated

Terms where permitted by law.

17. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any booking-specific policies or waivers we provide, constitute the entire

agreement between you and Stardust Riding Co regarding the subject matter here and supersede prior

oral or written understandings on that subject.
